The residents of this old farm house in Weymouth Massachusetts were experiencing some unusual activity. They claimed to hear a child crying in one of the bedrooms upstairs as well as see two separate apparitions. One apparition was that of a mustachioed man in the hallway adjoining the dining room and a tall dark shadow figure that would walk from behind the barn up the side stairs and attempt to open the door before disappearing. Everyone in this family (four members) saw this shadowy figure on almost a daily basis.
The frequency of the activity prompted our team to leave a DVR system on the property for a week recording out of the windows to watch the path this figure would take. Unfortunately, we did not catch the alleged shadow figure.
What we did find was evidence that was validated through additional research. A nurse at the local hospital used to baby sit for the family that lived in the house many years ago. The child had subsequently died in the house from health issues and happened to sleep in the very room the current family hears crying.
A very clear recording of a child’s voice (approximately 5 years old) was also captured in the dining room. Strangely enough, the child had an English brogue (this was verified through phonetic analysis) and was apparently talking to his mother which can also be heard (unintelligibly) on the recording. This recording was captured at around 11:00PM and there were no children present. In fact the only child in the current family’s home is far too old and has a voice much too deep to be the source of what was caught.

At the time of this recording the family was outside and the team was congregated in the bedroom.
Another piece of evidence captured at this location also comes in the form of EVP. In response to the question “What is your name?” a faint response could be heard on a section of recorded audio… “Leslie Moulton”. The name Moulton was traced back to the 1800’s when the Moulton family lived on the same street as this subject home.
We feel the evidence captured here goes far beyond coincidence. The fact that we were able to verify the evidence we captured through historical records leads us to believe this Weymouth home does indeed have paranormal activity.
